Dundee Storm vs Dundee Hurricanes

The first ever American Football derby match in Dundee saw the newly formed Dundee Hurricanes take on the Dundee Storm just before their entry into the UK 7v7 League.

The first half was a defensive display with the Hurricanes breaking the deadlock just before halftime with a touchdown. Another touchdown in the second half put the Hurricanes 14-0 up before the Storm fought back with a touchdown of their own. The Hurricanes went 20-6 up against the run of play with another touchdown before the Storm again came back to reduce the deficit to 20-12, but the clock ran out for a Hurricanes victory.
