A late comeback by Sacramento Surge secured the World Bowl ’92 title in the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. Having gone behind in the first quarter to Ford’s touchdown reception from the Irish-named Quarterback Mitchell and then gone further behind with another Mitchell Touchdown pass, this time to Davis, leaving the score 14-3 it seemed lost for the Surge. Two Field Goals by Blanchard, however, kept the Surge in the game, with one Field Goal for Orlando from Bennett Orlando Thunder went into halftime with a 17-6 lead. No Scoring in the Third Quarter left Orlando favourites to add the World Bowl title to their North American West Division title, however, David Archer had other ideas, firing touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to Green and Brown as well as a two-point conversion pass into the endzone to Stock to leave the Thunder shell-shocked at the end. Final Score: Orlando Thunder 17 Sacramento Surge 21.
