Recap

Luton Flyers had an easier than expected 37-17 win at Kenilworth Road, home of Luton Town FC, as the Birmingham Bulls’ Irish-named Quarterback Trevor Carthy came under pressure when his protective line fell apart. Despite a 68-yard Touchdown pass from Carthy to Mark Williams, a candidate for play of the year according to reports, which left the Bulls just 10-16 down just before halftime, they could not build on the momentum in the second half. Five 1-yard runs and a safety sealed the victory for the Luton Flyers as the Bulls could not keep the out in the redzone.
