26 September 1987 – Dublin Celts 43 Craigavon Cowboys 25 – Noel Doolin scored one of six Dublin Celts Touchdowns as they defeated the Craigavon Cowboys 43-25 in Shamrock Bowl II at North of Ireland Cricket and Football Club, Belfast and was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP) after the spectacular eight-yard touchdown he scored in the first half.
