Dublin Sharks received light blue shirts from American Professional Football team Corpus Christi Sharks in Texas in January 2007, in time for their debut in the IFFA Irish Flag Football League. They also played a couple of Challenge Games during the 2007-08 offseason before again taking part in the 2008 IFFA Irish Flag Football League.
